A little about us

Hi, we're Amber & James.

We're a family-run business and we've been looking after dogs since 2017. Precious Paws started out in Leicester, where we spent five years building up our P.P family before making the move to our purpose-built home in Rothley.

We're incredibly proud that so many of our original Leicester dogs came with us, even though it means a longer journey for some of their pawrents. Seeing those familiar faces arrive, tails wagging, means the world to us.

To us, Precious Paws is one big pawsome family. We care for each dog as though they were one of our own, with loads of love, attention and the chance to just be a dog. We want you to feel as happy about leaving your fur baby with us as they are about coming through the gate.

You won't miss out on the fun.

Our private owners' Facebook group, Pupdates, regular Instagram stories and the Precious Paws app mean you can see what your dog has been up to throughout the day. You're never far away from the fun.

Meet our team.

J

James

Big Bark Boss

James says he'd be a Jack Russell Terrier: plenty of stamina, loads of energy and a bit of a wind-up when he gets going!

A

Amber

Top Dog

Amber says she's a Border Collie at heart: eager to learn, keen to please and definitely prone to a bit of FOMO!

E

Eva

Head of the Pack

I'd be a Weimaraner. I've got long legs and I'm always hungry!

I

Izzy

Playtime Pack Assistant

I'd be an English Bulldog: stubborn, dramatic and not keen on change! I've got a big heart, I'm loyal, and I love nothing more than staying home with my favourite people and four-legged friends!

S

Simone

Chief Zoomie Officer

A Cocker Spaniel at heart: bouncy, a little bit crazy and fiercely loyal!

K

Karen

Snuggle Supervisor

I'd be a wee Cockapoo: lots of energy and fun, with a few quirks, but my tail is always wagging!

G

Georgina

Bark Park Ranger

I'd be a more mature fox-red Lab. We're both ginger, can sniff out a sweet treat a mile away and love curling up in front of the fire!
